Hello! My name is Orla Gavin, and I’m a college student who is very thrilled about an amazing opportunity in which has been opened to me. I’ll be going on a placement trip to Kenya, where I will volunteer in schools and assist local communities. My activities will include coaching sports, teaching various subjects, and even participating in construction work at the schools. This isn’t a part of my college course nor do I have to participate but I would love to be able to support the local young individuals and make a real difference!

In order to make this possible for me, I’m looking to raise £2,000 to cover the essential expenses like travel, accommodation, insurance, and costs related to my placement. However, as a student, this is will be quite a challenge for me, and while I’m putting in a lot of effort to make this happen and fund as much as I can, I’m reaching out to you for a bit of help and support.

This isn't just a trip or a vacation for me this is an incredible opportunity to learn, develop, and truly make a difference in real-world challenges. This journey will be both amazing and fulfilling, as I know I will have made an impact and assisted where possible. I plan to participate in fundraising events at my local army cadet force detachment to gather their support.
