Hello! My name is Hamish, I'm originally from Orkney and have just graduated from Aberdeen University. In the hunt for what's next, I've been blessed with an amazing opportunity to volunteer in Chile with YWAM (Youth With A Mission), which is a Christian organisation that focuses on discipleship training and urban outreach. This involves 5 months based in Santiago - the first 12 weeks are a training block that aims to equip volunteers to work in homeless shelters/food banks/local churches and also focuses on deepening my relationship with God. The following 8 weeks are outreach-based, where we are placed within the community, where we are able to make a difference and support people. This will span from the end of this September to February 2026.

The funds raised will go towards flight costs, the YWAM course fees, vaccines and general living costs. Anything given is massively appreciated!
