Help support African children to access education

Hello, as many of you know, i am currently a qualified Teacher and have been teaching for 2 years now! In August 2024, I will be travelling to Tanzania in Africa to volunteer as a teacher.

I believe in the power of education to transform lives and break the cycles of poverty and inequality. Knowing that many children in African schools lack access to basic resources and opportunities, I am driven by a desire to bridge this gap and provide them with the tools they need to thrive. The school I will be visiting has busy classes up to 50 students, where volunteers make a real impact by enabling more focused teaching.

The lack of adequate resources, including classrooms, textbooks, trained teachers, and learning materials, contributes to a challenging learning environment. Students often struggle to access basic necessities like books and stationary, hindering their ability to learn and unlock their future.

The lack of funding also impacts the availability of essential services such as clean water, sanitation facilities, and proper nutrition programs, which are vital for students' overall health and well-being. As a result of these challenges, many children in Tanzania face barriers to accessing education, causing cycles of inequality.

I am wanting to fundraise money for this trip and to provide resources to help these children access education. I am unbelievably excited to take this adventure and see what difference I can make in the world!
