Volunteering in Africa with Cricket Without Boundries

Hi, my name is Sean and in Spring 2025 I am going to be travelling to East Africa, (either Uganda, Kenya or Rwanda) with a fabulous cricket charity called Cricket Without Boundries.

Whilst there I will coaching children and adults about the game whilst also teaching them about gender equality and HIV/AIDs

Cricket Without Boundaries works with partners around the world to grow the game of cricket, while using the sport as a platform for health education and social change.

Since they began in 2005 they have reached thousands of children and adults, and with your help they hope to continue this for years to come.

Cricket Without Boundaries goals are:

Empowering communities: Are we helping players and coaches develop the life skills needed for community-led change?

Coaching children and training adults: Is participation equitable? Do boys and girls, men and women, refugees and host communities, people with and without disabilities, have equal chances?

Linking the game to health and social messages: Is there a knowledge change? Do players associate cricket with these messages?
