Conservation Volunteering in Namibia & South Africa
Donation protected
As many of you know, it has been a lifelong dream of mine to work with animals. In 2022 I went to university to study Wildlife Ecology and Conservation science, driven by my passion for wildlife conservation. Animals including Rhino like Hope are killed everyday and over 9000 rhino have been killed in Africa in the last 10 years. My goal is to devote my career to protecting these animals and preserve species for years to come.
Recently I have been given a once in a lifetime opportunity to volunteer with the Shamwari Wildlife Reserve team at Nyosi in South Africa for 9 months starting in September. However, this will come at a cost of around £9675 excluding flights, insurance, visas and so on. As a uni student I don’t have a lot of time to work and saving money is very difficult with rent costs in Bristol being so high. For this reason, I am looking for donations to help make this opportunity become reality, if you can give anything I would be so incredibly grateful. Thank you very much.
