Hello! My name is, Leeda. I am an Ukrainian-American nurse in Rochester, NY. The purpose of this fundraiser is to help me go to Medyka, Poland (the border that the Ukrainian refugees are using to get to Poland) to provide volunteer medical assistance, translation, and care where needed.

I am just a regular person with a regular job, and my savings alone will not be enough to go. My goal is to raise $5,000 for travel expenses, medical supplies, and my stay there. Left over donations will go to the appropriate parties for refugee relief. I will be leaving April 1st, and will stay until the 30th.

Ukraine has been a large part of my childhood, and I still have a lot of family and friends that live there. It has been heavy on my heart to go out and assist the victims of this war. Anything helps and is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
