Volunteer Work with The Hope Foundation in Kolkata

Hello! I’m Caitríona, and I’m delighted to have been chosen by my school (Alexandra College), to have the opportunity to volunteer in Kolkata, India, in March 2025, in support of The Hope Foundation.

HOPE works with children who have faced unimaginable hardships—victims of trafficking, violence, abandonment, abuse, and neglect. Their work empowers individuals and communities to break the cycle of poverty and create a brighter future for generations to come. I feel so privileged for the opportunity to contribute to this life-changing mission in Kolkata.

I have been given the challenge to raise €3,600 before February, 2025. In an effort to raise this money, I am running 360km to symbolise every bit of support needed! Of the funds raised, 75% goes directly to HOPE’s impactful programmes, while 25% will cover my basic travel and accommodation needs.

Your support—big or small—will make a lasting difference, helping to provide safety, education, and hope to Kolkata’s forgotten children.
