Volunteer Trip to Awasi, Kenya with LINC

I will be traveling to Awasi, Kenya, Africa in July of 2020 to volunteer in the ongoing construction of the Awasi School. The Awasi School is being built with the intention of welcoming students no matter their financial situation. Government schools in Kenya are supposed to be free-access to everyone, but when poor students can’t afford shoes or a uniform, schools close their doors to them. In Kenya there are 2.6 million orphaned or vulnerable children, and only 11% of them go to school. 

Love in Neglected Communities (LINC ) is on a mission to provide neglected communities with the support needed to alleviate hardships, promote well-being, and facilitate growth, giving them the chance to not only survive, but to truly live, love, and thrive.

Dedicated volunteers have linked up to provide Awasi with access to five core resources that meet the needs of basic survival and self-fulfillment- clean water, sustainable food sources, health & sanitation, education, and safety & security.

I am fundraising to facilitate the cost of travel and board - with anything leftover being donated straight to LINC.
