My name is Evan Indrek Pank and some of you already know, I've been working as a volunteer paramedic in Ukraine with NGO Prevail. Primarily doing medevacs of Ukrainian military casualties and teaching first aid classes for traumatic and life-threatening injuries. Initially I was planning to leave in September to return home and begin work with NSW Ambulance but having seen the situation in Ukraine, the opportunity to continue assisting in the care and transport of casualties and working with with the excellent team and other volunteers at Prevail, I'm going to be extending my stay for another 2 months. This will require obtaining a D10 visa and changing or purchasing a new flight to return back to Sydney, Australia.

This fundraiser is to help cover the costs of the flight change and to also raise some money for the NGO I'm working with, Prevail, which also has an EOD component which the medics sometimes support.

The aim is to raise $1600.

$600 will go towards the cost of the flight change or new flight booking.

$300 will go towards getting an expedited visa so that I can get back to working with Prevail quicker and avoid potential delays.

$700 towards equipment for Prevail or donated directly to the organisation. Gas masks have become a serious consideration due to increasing use of chemical weapons by Russian forces.

Any further money raised than the goal will be split 50-50 towards the cost of the flight back and to Prevail. If the cost of the visa and flight is less than the money raised, that extra money will go towards Prevail.
