Help replace medical equipment used at LFC parade
I'm raising money in aid of Merseyside Water Rescue and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
People are aware of the tragic events that happened at the end of the LFC parade on Water Street and the amazing response from the Police and Ambulance Service. What most people are not aware of is that there were volunteer medics also on scene like my self. I am NOT looking for praise or reward, I am raising money for the replacement of medical supplies used whilst treating victims. Unlike NWAS, our medical supplies are funded either through the charity or personally. On that day, while treating casualties many supplies were used from MWR medical bags on scene. I am raising funds to replace those supplies to enable us to help others again in the future
More information about Merseyside Water Rescue: We are a charity set up to preserve life in and around water. We operate a voluntary safety boat at the south Liverpool docks on Friday & Saturday nights. We aim to be there in the vital minutes between a person entering the water and the arrival of the emergency services when the risks of cold water shock and even drowning are greatest. We aim to stop people entering the water, and to prevent accidents or mis-haps. We seek to raise awareness of water safety.
