I am a retired Ob./Gyn. Doctor with  limited resources, who was asked to volunteer in Liberia to train local midwives with complicated deliveries and help to reduce maternal and fetal mortality .
The funds will be used to sustain me during the 2 months I will be in Liberia, all other expenses associated with this assignment are already covered.
The funds are needed on February 27/2017.
My mission starts on March 1/2017.
My purpose in life is to help and use my expertise to improve lives of people in need. My last two missions in that capacity were in Sierra Leone (3 months) and Nepal after the devastating earthquake (3 months). Many lives were impacted and will be improved in the future, as a result of my involvement, and I have no doubt that this mission results will be similar.
Please share with me the passion that I have to make this World a better place for everybody. Join me on this journey to save mothers and babies that might otherwise not make it and die unnecessarily.
