Volt Europa - The future of the movement
The creation of Volt Europa, was motivated by the conviction that a shared, pan-European future can be achieved.
Volters, are Europeans, who are not split by the sides of the political spectrum but instead full-heartedly dedicated to change the way politics is done by building a stronger and more prosperous Europe on the grounds of humanism and intellectual reason, outlined in our Manifesto: The Amsterdam Declaration.
Our focus circles around strengthening the political power of the EU, boosting growth and standards of living throughout the union, seizing opportunities for sustainable development and fixing humanitarian crisis responsibly and humanely.
During the second week of July, over 50 Volters amongst country representatives and European team leaders joined Volt Board in Brussels in the “Future of the Movement” retreat.
We celebrated the big success at the European elections, congratulate our first Member of the European Parliament Damien Boeselager
, and most important, start planting the seeds to our new chapter.
Since our foundation, we had one main goal: to develop the first Pan-European party with a representation in the Parliament. We run an electoral campaign in eight countries based on a single manifesto. We asked the voters to trust and support this dream.Half a million of European answered to this call
And we made it!
Our Damian, elected in Germany as the first Member of the European Parliament for Volt
, will represent all of us across Europe and will make us proud, fighting for the dream we all designed together! This is a historic milestone and we are incredibly excited and ready to start the next big adventure!
We are ready to show that Pan-European parties are the future of European politics.
In order to do that we need to grow into a strong accountable political actor and ensure a sustainable future
To do that we need to transform our Movement into an efficient and professional machine capable to deliver what we promised to our constituency.
During the next months, we have ambitious plans ahead and will have big expenses to face.
We will run this crowdfunder in phases in expenses as they come and we will communicate transparently to all the donors foreseen
