Volontariat pour les femmes victimes de violences

Hello, my name is Galiléa, I'm 24 years old and I'm a social worker. I work in a home for children and teenagers.

I have been granted unpaid leave to go to Bolivia as a volunteer. I want to discover new horizons and develop my professional skills. I also want to immerse myself in another culture and in other ways of doing things.

I'll be volunteering in Sucre, Bolivia for 6 months. I'll be working for a foundation called “Fundación Levántate Mujer - Sayariy Warmi Sucre”, which works with women, children and teenagers who are victims of violence. I think it's vital to protect women and children by giving them access to information and rights. Working with them is very important to me and deserves a daily commitment.

I'm looking to raise some funds to pay for my trip. In addition, any surplus money raised will be donated to the foundation.
