Global spaces still underrepresent and underfund Indigenous and traditional communities' leadership, knowledge, and agency. As COP30 arrives in the Brazilian Amazon, Indigenous Peoples rise from guardians of climate solutions to central protagonists. We are at a tipping point, evolving towards a world in which ancestral knowledge is valued as a key enabler for regenerative innovation.
‘Voices from the Territories toward COP30’ is a webinar and round table series featuring Indigenous and traditional People from Brazil with expertise in COP-related topics. These sessions will reveal the lived realities, political demands, and regenerative solutions that Indigenous Peoples are contributing to the climate crisis. By launching a digital COP Indigenous and traditional Peoples-led program, we are catalysing international visibility in preparation and follow-up of COP30.
We invite foundations, public agencies, ethical investors, and civil society allies to support this campaign. Your investment will create visibility for Indigenous thought leadership and activate new pathways for intercultural collaboration, sustainability, and justice.
It also acts as the launch pad for a long-term virtual space that shifts the power dynamic, enabling Indigenous experts to teach, consult, and collaborate in their own terms, with global actors who are ready to listen and learn. Join us in this mission.
