Family, friends and strangers.. I try not to ask for help often I just grin and bear it and figure it out,but this time it just seems like a little too much on my plate. As many of you know, our 8 year old son was just diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, this has meant we've spent most of the week in the hospital. Brian( my husband) has taken time off work to be there to support Colton and myself with his care. He is our primary source of income as I have been off work recently. I had a job lined up, but I have had to put that off in light of the circumstances. Brian has really great benefits,but there are still going to be some out of pocket expenses that we were not expecting this close to Christmas. In addition to the lost wages and new expenses, one of our vehicles has broke down- this is the car that will either transport Colton to appointments or our oldest daughter to school. I know it's close to Christmas and many are struggling. But even a dollar helps us to close the gap we're facing. Thank you for taking the time to read.
