Hi, my name is Sally and I'm raising money for my beautiful granddaughter Bella Christon the pictures up above on the beach are 3 days before the accident , we came of holiday on the Monday and on Thursday July 31st Bella had this unfortunate accident and fell out of a tree on Pavilion Playing Fields in Cotmanhay, Ilkeston, breaking 17 bones, including shattering 2 lower lumbar bones in her spine, broken ribs which caused her lung to puncture, abdominal bleeding, and bruising and bleeding on her brain. Bella had to have a 5 hour emergency surgery, in which the surgeon had to attach rods and screws to Bella's spine in order to fix the massive amount of damage done. Although the surgery went well, days later when we had gotten Bella home we have found out that Bella is unable to get any help whilst at home., be it medical or financial. We have had no help with aftercare with nobody coming out to monitor Bella's injuries, changing her dressings, etc. We've also got to wait until next month for an appointment for bella regarding her spinal injuries. We've also had no help with any home adaptations for Bella's injuries, which include a wheelchair, commode, rails, etc. We've are looking for help to make life a little bit easier for Bella and her family and their long road ahead to recovery for Bella, so anything that you are able to donate will make a great difference.
