Life saving equipment
Donation protected
Hi, I’m Steph. I've decided to take on a massive challenge to hike Snowdonia & raise money for two defibrillators in local pubs. After losing my partner, Andy Montford, last year to cardiac arrest, I now know how important this piece of equipment is. For every minute that someone's in cardiac arrest without receiving CPR and having a defibrillator used on them, their chance of survival decreases by 10%. That's why it's so important to act immediately.
As a person who shies away from any form of exercise, climbing a 3560 ft mountain is a huge challenge for me. I’m giving myself 3 weeks of preparation with the support & encouragement of my friend Sammi. We'll be doing the walk on Sunday, 13th July.
Money raised will go towards defibrillators in Smallthorne – one in the Moorland as a lot has already been raised any money outstanding will go towards getting a defibrillator for the Foresters pub, which was Andy’s local.
