Vitol Goes the Distance

Vitol Goes The Distance is a team-based virtual activity challenge designed to get our people active and bring our Vitol community together globally, all while raising money for charity. The Vitol community aims to race around the world, virtually visiting every Vitol office along the way.

Throughout the month of June the Vitol teams will be running, walking, biking – even dancing, kayaking and swimming to collect points. The teams and individuals will gladly accept any support in form of sponsorship to support the following causes:

Fundación Tejedores de Sueños – Costa Rica - Presented by Inge Mannaerts

Fundación Tejedores de Sueños aims for achieving full access to secondary school education for underprivileged Costa Rican youth, as finishing secondary school is key to a future without poverty. The Foundation provides scholarships and follow-ups for promising students from low income families and creates public awareness in the country around the factors that impede formal school attendance for all.

The foundation «Au Cœur des Grottes» accommodates and supports women in precarious situations, alone or with their children. It specializes in monitoring female victims of domestic violence, human trafficking, forced marriages or at risk of honour crimes.
