Vitamins for Children in Sumba Island

Since 2017, we have gone on annual trips to Sumba island to distribute vitamins to the children there. Vitamin A is critical for preserving children’s health, as it helps prevent blindness and death caused by common childhood diseases such as diarrhoea. In fact, periodic, high-dose vitamin A supplementation has been found to decrease all-caused mortality rate by 12 to 24 percent. The vitamins we provide are long-term, and can have lasting effects for up to 6 months. Because we were not able to go this year due to the coronavirus, we are raising money to buy vitamins and other resources that will be sent to them. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
