Visutskie Wilno Fire

Update- Jim is out of hospital and in temporary accommodation with his family and is stable and doing well. Thank you all so much for your extremely generous donations! Together we raised $9004 for Jim and his family to help them with groceries and items not covered by insurance. I’ll round out the fundraiser to $10k and will personally deliver the funds to Jim via e-transfer through my account. Thank you all so much again for your generosity!! Jim and his family truly appreciate it!!

Many of you will know or have worked with retired MCO Jim Visutskie. He was badly injured and his entire home destroyed past week in a fire in his family home in Wilno. They lost absolutely everything.

I am helping to raise money for the family, particularly to help his children Janisa, 15 and Aaran, 9, to purchase clothes and school supplies. After working with Jim 10 years ago, we stayed in touch and I have immense respect for him and his family.
