Hi my name is Jacqueline Joy and I’m currently a first year optometry student with a passion for providing vision care to communities in need.

Through the Student Optometric Services to Humanity (SOSH) organization at Pennsylvania College of Optometry, I have an amazing learning opportunity to provide eye-care services to the underserved community in Panama City, Panama. 

In addition to fundraising on campus, such as hosting a TeddyGram sale for Valentine's Day, I believe that GoFundMe will help me reach my goal! To be selected as a first-year volunteer, my goal is to raise to $2000 and all proceeds will go towards  the organization (SOSH).

Donations of any amount would be greatly appreciated and every dollar will be going to a great cause!

This rewarding opportunity would mean so much to me especially as an aspiring healthcare professional seeking to find ways to give back.
