Virtual Happy Hour - Midnight Sun Staff Support

As many of you know, the Midnight Sun is now officially closed until May 1st due to SF Department of Public Health’s latest attempts to contain the spread of COVID-19.
Though this is disappointing to many regulars, this is an incredibly challenging situation for the amazing bartenders, bar-backs, VJs, dancers, and doormen who work hard on a daily basis. Many of the staff that we have come to know and love depend on our patronage, and tips, to make it in this ridiculously pricey city of ours.
So, let’s rally! Are you a fan of catching up with friends during weekday happy hours? Do you love the videos, chips, and music during Wayback Wednesdays? Do you look forward to hitting up Boy Bar or Stallion Saturdays? How about a solid Sunday Funday watching “newbies” spin the wheel?
Well, consider this a “Virtual Happy Hour” where everyone is encouraged to donate what they would normally spend on drinks, with tips, on the days/nights they would normally attend. Usually swing by for a few rounds on Tuesdays? Great! Make sure you donate that same amount you would normally spend on the Tuesdays from here until the bar opens.
This Virtual Happy Hour will go until May 1st (or when the bar is clear to open) and all money raised will be split evenly amongst the staff. Bonus, there is no need to touch dirty cash by donating online!
