Christmas Swim Challenge for RNLI Fenit Lifeboat

Tralee Bay Swimming Club play host to The Fenit Christmas Day Swim . It is now in its 69th year and is one of the largest and oldest in the country with c800 swimmers and 2000 spectators . Our bucket collection on the day is administered by Fenit RNLI lifeboat  and they receive all proceeds . Unfortunately this year there will not be a running of the swim and no collection. This is a vital fundraiser for Fenit Lifeboats . Therefore we are asking you to join with your family and have one ( Or more ! )  swim over the 12 days of Christmas and donate what you can here to help . Please do not converge on Fenit on Christmas Day at once ! . You can pick any day or beach in Tralee Bay or beyond  and we would like you to take a photo of your swim and post it to our Tralee Bay Swimming Facebook page . The best photo will win a prize of a guided tour Of The Lifeboat for a family . The photo theme is simply “ A Safe  Christmas “.
And Please NEVER swim alone and stay within your depth .
