With the best interest of the community and country at large, LA's iconic Virgil Village daytime cafe and retail jam operation has recently had to adapt their operations greatly to the daily changing landscape of the COVID-19 crisis for the coming weeks, if not months.

While this is the best decision for the business, it means a tremendous amount of uncertainty in the lives of the hardworking staff members who rely heavily on the source of income that our community provides. 

Like many workers in the service industry whose workplace is still in operation, staff are faced with the tough decision between self-isolating for health reasons and to prevent the spread of COVID-19 or work a public-facing position for the sake of financial stability.

Any amount of support you generously care to donate will be evenly distributed to the staff for things like rent, groceries, medical supplies, elderly care, child care, etc. and will be greatly appreciated beyond measure.
