Our mission at Virago Alley is to provide an accessible and inclusive platform for the exploration, education and preservation of historical martial arts and artisan trades.

Our collective serves as a hub for knowledge exchange as well as a physical space for skill development and community building, uniting individuals as well as existing groups who share a passion for these timeless disciplines.

With a commitment to authenticity, respect, and camaraderie, we aim to inspire a lifelong appreciation for the artistry, history, and values embodied by these traditions, ensuring that they endure for generations to come.

This collective will consist of practice and demonstration space for traditional archery and fencing as well as workshopping and limited studio space for historic artisans including but not limited to herbalism, swordsmithing, carpentry, leatherworking, bookbinding, bowyers and more.

We are in the midst of developing our non profit 501 c3 status and fundraising for building renovations.
