Help Get Jon Off His Feet and Behind the Wheel!

Jon’s turning 60 on November 16 — and after recent years of pounding the pavements as a Postie, I reckon it’s time he swapped walking shoes for wheel trims.

Specifically, a Citroën DS — the sleek, spaceship-on-wheels that looks like it’s come straight out of a 1960s French film. Unfortunately, the DS also comes with a price tag that suggests it has come from outer space. So, while a pristine DS might be out of reach, I’m crowdfunding towards something with a bit of charm, a bit of chrome, and ideally, all four wheels still attached.

Jon loves classic cars — the lines, the smell, the sheer impracticality of them — but let’s be honest, he hasn’t a clue what goes on under them (that’s what his brother Jez is for).

He’s spent recent years delivering for everyone else — now it’s time to deliver something for him.

So skip the socks and birthday ales — chip in a few quid, raise a pint, and help get Jon behind the wheel of something gloriously vintage.
