Vinny tries to save the world!
Donation protected
My name is Vinny. Since Covid-19 went from a worrisome flue to a global epidemic over the last month I couldn't help but try to think of ways I could help during quarantine. On march 13th right before Covid heated up in NYC I left my job to pursue my business. That dream is on hold for now but what I realized I had was the making for a mini-PPE factory for our front liners. I began by teaching myself how to sew and am now mailing out 10-20 triple layered, organic cotton black fabric masks with elastic straps and brass nose contour grips.
I also own a 3D printer which I learned how to print CDC approved face shields, recyclable plastic (sealed) 3D printed filtered mask systems, adjustable neck straps to relieve our essential workers and medical care professionals from the pain and irritation of elastic. head/ear bands.
I've been operating for about 3 weeks and with the donations I've gotten from my Instagram following I have been able to purchase TWO more 3D printers to help produce up to 30 printed masks a day and hundreds of straps and face shields, where I am now limited is the cost of operating these machines. The filament isn't cheap, they're running 24/7 which send utilities through the roof, and I'm doing ALL of this with my fiancee out of our apartments. We lost both of our jobs, too, but that isn't what this is about. We have the money saved to get by for a few months, what this is about is the ability to save the good people that are saving us in our hospitals and essential businesses. I have the means to help them with my skillets in sewing and 3D print technology but without some help I can't keep operating as fast as I want to.
With your contribution I promise to give every fiber of my being to protect the ones we love and the people we will never meet that will save them.
Thank you for anything you can do. Please feel free to DM me at @Vincenz_ on instagram for any questions on how you can help or collaboration efforts.
All the best,
Vinny Belmont
