A calling in my heart.. I’m Jade and I’m offering this upcoming half marathon race to this amazing foundation, VINE Foundation. They help children in Mandaue City dumpsite by supporting their education and families.

I still remember where I did my thesis back in Cebu, Philippines. I studied the optimism of the children living in Mandaue Cebu dumpsite as a requirement of Bachelor of Psychology degree. I saw firsthand the smiles on the children’s faces and their families scavenging for food. They were grateful for the help they received from VINE foundation and being able to go to school. Education has been a beacon of hope and was taught as a way out of poverty.

It would be my honour to help them in my own little way. I’m running a race not only for myself but also for a wonderful cause.
