Village's KY Holiday Relief

On the night of December 10th, 2021 a series of overnight thunderstorms that quickly turned into a super cell storm with a 200 mile path that ripped through our neighboring communities, that is said to be the most destructive in the state's history since 1890, left more than 1,000 homes gone, hundreds of families displaced with nothing more than the clothes on their back. The devastation is unlike anything we have seen.
We have provided emergency supplies, but need your help to provide the displaced children holiday cheer. Please join us in raising funds to purchase toys, electronics, and gift cards for all ages to spread a little joy and hope to our Kentucky children this holiday season.
This campaign is being organized by VillageMedical employees and in partnership with VillageMD in recognition of the indirect profound impact felt by the Kentucky clinic staff in Murray, KY. Many of our friends, families, and patients were directly impacted. Anyone can contribute, but employees across the company have the opportunity to show their unified support for the campaign as they see fit. Clinic staff are limited in their ability to provide direct relief efforts due to the physical demand required by their roles - meeting the needs of patients. This is an opportunity for them to contribute to the direct support of our neighboring Marshall and Graves County impacted families.
Our local Walmart has agreed to provide discounts to ensure monetary contributions go as far as possible. Any contributions made by EOB 12/17/21 will be used for the direct purchase of toys through our local Walmart. The Murray Bank is partnering with local resources orchestrating deliveries with Mayfield and Marshall County school resource officers. Contributions collected after 12/17/21 through 1/31/22 will be used to support items that have been requested by Mayfield and Marshall County Recovery Leads.
Update: Due to the overwhelming response from our generous community, there is an abundance of toys that have been donated across the affected areas. We have decided to use these funds to warm our displaced families as Winter is upon by purchasing heaters and fuel to those families in need.
