Greetings all.

My name is Mike. November of 2023 my wife Karyn and I were invited down to Huatulco to spend a day during our stay in a friend of ours named Lalo's (Edwardo's) village north of Santa Maria called Rio Sal. We took a truck up and spent the day with his wonderful family and also brought up a bunch of supplies for the school up there. It was life changing. This year in August of 2024 I drove from Canada to Huatulco with tools, supplies and other stuff from Canada to spend a good chunk of time with Lalo and his family and hopefully do some good. We started a Tourism company for Lalo and his beautiful soon to be wife Diana and also spent time in Rio bringing supplies and donating some things I brought down. They just built a new school for the village that is for grade school but are in need of money and help for a kindergarten. They also they have a water supply issue that requires money to replace old equipment and move it a bit further in to a new source.

The village needs more than what I can provide. I would like to start a NPO but I don't have the funds to start it. I need $4500USD to hire a company to help with the start up, make sure everything is legal, work to help with fundraising and help to navigate this process with ease. I can then do proper fund raising and people can donate to the charity. Once we have put out a few fires for projects in the village I would like to move around the area and find additional needs.

The need is great all over the world. Even in my own country. I found I can help more here and my dollar goes further for things that people need. There are not a lot of programs with government help. Numerous charities exist already but with this one I can work with people in the area and focus on this one problem at a time.

The picture is from Oct of 2024 before I started the drive back to Canada. I was given a very generous box of treats and coffee to bring back with me from the Kindergarten group as thanks. Next to me is my best buddy Lalo who has been a tour guide down there for years and now has his own. The plan is to use the company profits to eventually help as well but we just started and we have no idea what the year is going to be like.
