Helping Vietnamese Victims of Typhoon Yagi
Donation protected
My name is Caroline, and my background is Vietnamese. I recently travelled to Vietnam to visit my grandparents and experienced a typhoon called Yagi while I was there (you can find out more about it online). Typhoons are big storms coming from the ocean, and Yagi was the most severe one over the last 60 years that hit northern Vietnam. The typhoon knocked trees down onto roads, blocking them and even taking people's lives. The heavy rain caused flooding and landslides, sweeping houses away. Luckily, the city we were in, Hanoi, was not the most affected, even though trees were down everywhere. However, there are regions in Vietnam (and other countries) that lost much more due to Typhoon Yagi. I am fundraising to support the people in Vietnam who were victims of this monster typhoon. If you would like to give me a present for my 10th birthday, I would greatly appreciate it if you could help me fundraise instead. Thank you for reading this and for your donation!
