Help Build a Mosque in Vietnam

Assalamualaykum everyone,

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful,

Help build a mosque in rural Vietnam!

Masjid Jamius Sunnah is a mosque currently under construction in Ha Bao 2 hamlet, Da Phuoc town, An Phu district, An Giang province, in rural Vietnam. The original masjid was demolished for new construction more than two years ago. Due to financial difficulties, the construction has not been completed to this day. The original masjid was very old and deteriorated, thus making it unsafe for prolonged use. It was also very small and could not accommodate many worshippers.

The project consists of the following:

The total cost of the project is $510,000 USD (approx. $794,000 AUD). However, $225,400 USD (approx. $351,000 AUD) has been raised thus far, which allowed for the construction of the slabs and brickwork, as seen in the video. The remaining amount needed to complete the construction of this masjid is $284,600 USD (approx. $443,000 AUD).

Currently, the community is looking to complete the rough construction of the masjid, including the mezzanine walls, roof, dome and two high minarets (towers). This equates to approximately $26,600 AUD, which is the first stage we are trying to reach in this fundraiser.

Uthman ibn Affan reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.”
