Better lives for children in Fiji
My name is Victor Sharpe and I am a 20 year old student in 2nd year university looking to do as much good in this world as I can.
I have been involved with a lot of volunteering in the past and this trip would be a great eye opening experience since the only opportunities that have been presented to me was to volunteer within my own small community, and now that there is an opportunity to give something back on the other side of the world, with your donations, I want to seize this chance and play my part in making this world just a little brighter for people who are not as privileged as we are.
I have always had a passion for helping others and some of the little things I'd be doing are constructing water catchment tanks and pipelines in the village, restoring old school equipment and school buildings, teaching English to the young children of the village.
Also I'd take part in a turtle conservation program where I'd restore the coral reef by planting coral to encourage growth, build a turtle sick bay, and help hatchlings get to sea. To give something back to the community except this time, it being on the other side of the world!
The trip is scheduled to take place on July 8th until August 7th and I need to pay the full amount of the trip by May 24th in order for me to go. Any amount would be ever so greatly appreciated and it would mean a lot to me that you wish to contribute to my cause! I can say for certain that not a single penny will be wasted and I''ll do my best to work in hard in changing the lives of the people for the better :-)
