Victoria's Global Service for Change
Donation protected
Greetings friends, family, and supporters,
My name is Victoria Augustin, and I’m incredibly excited to share a life-changing opportunity that I’ve been blessed to receive. This summer, I’ll be traveling to Ghana to serve as a Child Labour and Trafficking Project Coordinator / Human Rights Project Coordinator with Patriots Ghana, a nonprofit organization committed to protecting vulnerable populations and advancing sustainable change through education, advocacy, and community empowerment.
This journey is deeply personal. As a first-generation college student, an aspiring civil rights attorney, and a woman grounded in faith, I’ve made it my life’s mission to uplift those whose voices are too often unheard. From surviving tragedy and adversity as a Haitian immigrant to navigating life with limited resources, every step of my path has fueled my passion to fight for justice, both here and abroad.
Through this internship with Patriots Ghana, I’ll be working directly with rural communities to:
- Raise awareness around child labor and human trafficking
- Assist in community education, outreach, and rehabilitation
- Support human rights initiatives that prioritize long-term solutions
This opportunity will not only allow me to grow as a leader, global citizen, and future lawyer, but it will also help me gain the hands-on experience I need to make a lasting impact in the world.
Why I Need Your Help
While I’m deeply honored to have been selected for this program, the cost of participation is more than I can cover alone. As a full-time student without external scholarships or financial support, I’m asking my community to help make this dream possible.
Your donation will help cover:
- Program fees
- Flights, visa, and travel vaccinations
- Lodging and meals
Ways You Can Support
Donate – Every single dollar brings me one step closer to Ghana.
Share – Even if you can’t give it right now, please share this with someone who might.
This journey is bigger than me. It’s about showing up for communities that deserve safety, access, and hope. It’s about taking everything I’ve survived and turning it into service that uplifts others. And it’s about building the foundation for the advocacy work I plan to lead for years to come.
I would be truly honored to have you walk with me on this path. Thank you for believing in me, supporting my mission, and helping me turn this dream into a reality.
With deep gratitude,
Victoria Augustin
