Victoria Pantoja, my sister, was born on September 29th, 1994. Nearly losing her life at birth due to a congenital heart condition. Before five years of age, she underwent three open heart surgeries. These life-saving procedures gave her a chance at a life where she blossomed into the most loving, caring human. She was helpful, compassionate and committed to helping those she loved.

Victoria grew into a beautiful young woman. She tried to have a family; unfortunately, it would never happen. In Chicago, she lost her only son Enrique. Victoria never recovered from this loss. Who can recover from losing a child?

Victoria was like a daughter to me and my two elder sisters, Jessica and Angelica. She leaves us behind, as well as our other sister Mercedes and mother, Iris, to be with our heavenly father where she can be reunited with her son Enrique, and our father, Juan Pantoja.

We ask for help with the final arrangements of her human vessel and the celebration of life remembrance ceremony planned on or around the 29th of October.

Victoria is a beautiful soul and was a true gift. Gone too soon at 28 years young.
