En janvier 2016, s’est ouvert le procès de l’OKC et de son fondateur Robert S. Les audiences sont en cours et le jugement sera rendu le 30 mars.
Une vingtaine d’enfants et d’anciens adeptes/parents de la secte se sont constitués partie civile dans cette affaire.
Nous n’avons pas eu la possibilité de nous exprimer lors des perquisitions en 1997 ni durant les 19 ans d’enquête qui ont suivi.
C’est dans l’espoir de nous assurer une défense conséquente face aux nombreux avocats de la partie adverse, que nous comptons sur cette levée de fonds pour assurer une rémunération suffisante à notre avocat.
Si toutefois les frais d’avocats étaient inférieurs au montant levé, nous nous engageons à verser l’argent à une association qui aiderait les victimes de sectes, abus sexuels et maltraitance physique sur mineurs.

Sinds 4 januari 2016 is het OKC proces en van zijn oprichter Robert Spatz voor de 89ste kamer van de correctionnele rechtbank te Brussel begonnen.
De hoorzittingen zijn bezig en op 30 maart zaal het vonnis uitgesproken worden.
Over 20 mensen hebben zich als civiele partij samengevoegd om verschillende misbruiken en overtredingen aan te kaarten waar ze over lange jaren alleen of samen schlachtoffers van werden -->schending van hun fysieke en morele integriteit, misbruik van vertrouwen.....
Een aantaal daarvan waren toen nog kinderen en werden door hun gemanipuleerde en geendoctrineerde ouders in de secte meegenomen.
In 1997 werden nog huiszoekingen verricht maar sindsdien is het onderzoek stil gevallen. Nu is het raad van justicie weer begonnen draaien.
Tegenover van de taalrijke en in de secte verdediging geroutineerde avocaten van Robert Spatz hebben de civiele partijen uw steun nodig om de defensie kosten te kunnen dekken .
Zou de ingezamelde som hoger zijn als de kosten wordt het overtolige bedrag aan een VZW gestort die schlachtoffers van sectes, sexueel geweld en mishandelingen op minderjarigen helpt.

In January 2016 a criminal and civil trial began in Brussels, Belgium against OKC and its founder Robert S. The trial is expected to last until the end of the month, if not longer and a ruling will be issued on March 30, 2016. OKC is a religious group that has maintained a presence in several European countries since the 1970’s, including France, Belgium, Portugal Spain and Greece.
Approximately twenty former members of OKC, most of whom were children raised in the group, are making claims against Spatz and are in need of funds to pay for legal fees and the cost of traveling to Brussels to testify in the ongoing trial. The children raised in the group suffered harsh living conditions, separation from their parents at a very young age (as early as 2 years old), and psychological, physical l and/or sexual abuse. Most of the children in the group were removed from school at age 14 and have struggled to find their footing after leaving the group in their adulthood.
This matter originated in 1997 after an investigation conducted jointly by the governments of Belgium and France. Many of the claimants were small children at the time and didn’t have the opportunity to be heard during the initial investigation.
The abusive activities of the group have continued during the 19-year delay between the investigation and trial of the case, and the former children of the group are now rallying and hoping to be heard after so many years of silence. However, OKC is (and has been for the past 19 years), represented by numerous lawyers who provide an aggressive defense to which we need to respond. Lawyers in Belgium will not take a case such as this one on contingency, thus we have established this request in the hope of obtaining sufficient funds to cover our attorney’s fees so that we will have an adequate representation in the case, in addition to covering travel fees for trial attendance.
In the unlikely event that we raise more money than needed to cover these costs, all remaining money will be donated to an organization that helps victims of religious cults, and/or victims of childhood physical or sexual abuse.

En enero de 2016 ha empezado el juicio contra la OKC y su fundador Robert S. Las audiencias están en curso y el juicio tendrá lugar el 30 de marzo.
Una veintena de menores y de antiguos adeptos/padres de la secta se han constituido como acusación particular civil en este caso.
No hemos tenido la oportunidad de explicar nuestra experiencia después de las investigaciones policiales que tuvieron lugar en 1997, ni durante los 19 años que les han seguido.
Es en la esperanza de conseguir asegurarnos una defensa consecuente y sólida, que debe enfrentarse a numerosos abogados de defensa del acusado, que contamos con esta recaudación de fondos para poder sufragar los costes del juicio.
En el caso de que las tasas judiciales fueran inferiores a la cantidad recaudada, nos comprometemos a donar la cantidad restante a una asociación de ayuda a las víctimas de sectas, abusos sexuales y maltrato físico a menores.
