This weekend our dear friend Vicky was involved in an accident and suffered a serious head injury.

The good news is that Vicky is responsive and is now able to move her arms and legs. The doctor asked if she could give a thumbs up to which Vicky obliged.

The bad news is there is going to be a lot of recovery for Vicky, who is without health insurance. As a tireless restaurant service industry employee, Vicky will be unable to work for some time, and her husband and our friend Bill will more than likely be attending to her care as well.

This fund is to help them cover the astronomically high medical bills, to get Vicky and Bill back on their feet and to ease the financial and emotional stress of this horrible accident.
