VHI Womens Mini Marathon for Hugh’s House

On the 2nd January 2024 our gorgeous baby boy Páidí was born in Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe. Unfortunately he was very unwell at birth and quickly deteriorated. He was blue lighted to the Rotunda hospital in Dublin where he spent 10 nights receiving specialist care. During that time a social worker attached to the NICU organised a room for us at Hugh’s house, only 10 minutes walk from the hospital. Hugh’s house offered us a home from home during a time of uncertainty and extreme worry. We are extremely grateful to have been given a room, a fully stocked kitchen and means to wash and dry clothes. So, on the 2nd June 2024, I, along with 2 of my closest friends, Katie & Eilish will be participating in the VHI womens mini marathon in aid of Hugh’s House. We would be so grateful if you could spare a few euro to support this great cause.
