Last year, I wanted to "Give Back" for all that was given to myself and our family during our Cancer Journey with David. I work with a wonderful lady named Kari. Kari told me about a camp that she is the director for. Camp Journey at Ross Point. This camp is for children who have had, or are going through cancer treatment. They get to bring a sibling or a friend with them if they would like. The best part, is that camp is free to them. Cancer treatment is very expensive and places a lot of families in hardship.

I wasn't sure if this was something I would be able to do since it had only been two years since David passed away. I was determined to give it my best shot. Not only was it a great experience, it gave me the begining of the healing that I needed. I can not wait to go back this summer!! Those kids had so much fun and were able to be kids an not worry about their cancer because of camp.

This is where we need your help. Right now, camp is paying for a storage unit since one is not available on site yet. I would like to raise the money for a Storage/Garage for Camp Journey on site. The money being used to pay for storage right now needs to go to the kids, not storage fees!! Please make this dream a reality! Once it is done, a plaque will be placed on the garage in memory of David. I know he is smiling down on us right now knowing he is helping others.
