Help Jamaica Recover After Hurricane Melissa

Hi, my name is Robert Lewis, and I’m from Mandeville, Jamaica.

Our beautiful island has just been devastated by Hurricane Melissa, which destroyed homes, flooded communities, and left families without food, water, and shelter. I’ve seen neighbors lose everything — roofs ripped away, streets underwater, and people struggling just to find clean water and something to eat.

I started this GoFundMe to help local families in need — people in the community of Saint Elizabeth and surrounding areas who have been directly affected. Many of them are elderly, single parents, or children who have nowhere else to turn.

The funds will go toward:

• Buying food supplies (rice, tinned goods, crackers, water, baby food)

• Helping to repair roofs and damaged homes for those who can’t afford it

• Assisting with transport and emergency shelter support for displaced families

Every donation — big or small — will make a real difference in someone’s life right now. I’ll be sharing updates and photos to show exactly how your contributions are being used to help.

Please help me bring hope back to Jamaica. Let’s rebuild together, one family at a time. ❤️

Thank you so much for your kindness and support.
