Custody Legal Fees

For the past 5 years, I have been involved in very long and ongoing custudy litigation. It began when Evie was 4 months old and through the last several years we have had many (10 or more) court dates, professionals (evaluations and parenting coordinators), missing days of work and extra costs. 

All of this has been done to continue to be able to have the best support and outcome for Evie. I have exhausted my own personal finances (cashed in 401k and savings, reduced expenses), borrowed from family and friends, taken on a 2nd job and at this time I'm at a point where I need more support. In order to continue working with my Attorney, who has been incredibly supportive and generous with her time and fees, I need to pay her a retainer fee soon to continue. She has invested over two years and many days in court and I trust her completely with standing for what is truly best for Evie. 

It's been hard for me to reach out and ask here, but I recognize it takes a community to raise our kids and keep their world protected the best we can. Some of you know the story here more on a personal level and I'd be glad to share more with you if it would be beneficial to you.
