Hello everyone!  My name is Jake and I am starting this to raise money for my local VFW.  What I hope to accomplish by doing this is to alleviate some of the financial stress on the leaders of the club.  Over the years, the club has lessened significantly.  There are not many members left to uphold the monthly meetings.  It is very sad and if I can do anything to save the club I will.  The VFW has been there for me all my life.  I still go there and play pool with my friends.  It is a great place for veterans to interact and be social with each other.  The veterans I have met there have become great friends  and have changed my life for the better.  For all of us who go there, I want to raise as much as I can so it stays open.
