Help for Jason’s family

As most of you know, my brother Robert and Debbie lost their son Jason unexpectedly nearly two years ago. They recently purchased a piece of property with a run down house to fix up, to make it a home for Jason’s family. They have all been working tirelessly to get the house ready to move in. Robert has been physically and financially putting everything he has trying to make this happen. They continue to hit road blocks, one after the other after the other. The biggest one is that no one will give them a mortgage to finish paying off the original owner with out proper access to the house. He has been trying to re-do the culvert that has been washed out where the driveway crosses the creek only to have it washed out again, during the last storm. It needs a proper bridge built because the culvert is not safe. He also found out that the HVAC is shot. House will not pass inspection without heating source. Robert is now looking at needing a minimum of $30,000 more for the HVAC and bridge to get a mortgage and finish the house to get his family moved in. Robert has spent all of their own finances just to get it this far.

None of these roadblocks were anticipated.
