I have known Tim for 2 years now through local veterans events and running into him around town. Recently he was laid off and has struggled to find another job in the Oil and Gas industry. The Oil and Gas jobs have been hit pretty hard here in the four corners.
Utilizing my connections in the staffing industy we worked diligently on Tim's resume and after 4 months of interviewing and hitting the job search hard, Tim has attained a position with a company in Florida. A Military Veteran friendly, familiy owned company. Tim will not only be re-inventing his skillsets but also moving to a company who has over 25% of their staff has worked there for 10+ years.
Several months of unemployment and the costs to relocate his family are going to really effect Tim in the next few weeks.
Tim is to report to Orlando, Florida for his new position on July 21st. In the mean time he will need to find housing for his wife and 2 daughters. He will have to move himself and his belongings across the country. The company is going to be giving him some reimbursment, but it won't cover most of the costs. We expect it to cost him close to 3,000 to move across the country. He will be putting security deposits and finding a place to live.
Please consider helping Tim transition in life and moving his famly across the country so that he can re-enter the workforce at a Veteran Friendly company.
