Not long until Christmas now!

For those who don’t know, I am repeating last years successful Xmas stay for Veterans who would be on their own at Xmas in my Guesthouse, Virginia Cottage Bowness on Windermere . As expected, we are full already and have a short waiting list just in case.

Last year we raised close to £1300 and this paid for meals out, Windermere Cruise, Xmas drinks, welcome hamper and various other treats for the time they stayed,

This year I am cooking Xmas dinner myself in with the price of only £300 for 4 days which also includes their breakfast, a saving of some £500 compared to what I would be charging civvies.

Any money donated by your good selves will 100% go to them except I will join them for the Xmas drink at the Country Hut but it would be nice to book various establishments in advance as they are starting to get busy now.

Anything you can contribute will be awesome and I will make sure that I post what it has been spent on.
