Veterans and Widows of the RAFA

Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of ROYAL AIR FORCES ASSOCIATION WREKIN (WELLINGTON) BRANCH and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.

Sadly, my Father Peter Burley passed away in July 2023. He joined the RAF as a teenager and served for 37 years. He devoted everything to serving the RAF and returned to work on camp as the SIF Manager following his retirement to help and assist other servicemen.

Some of my fondest memories were of my father in and around his fellow members of the RAF and he left behind a strong and vibrant community who will miss him greatly. I am extremely proud of his service and his unwavering commitment to the RAF and latterly ATC and RAFA.

To raise funds and awareness of RAFA and ATC Paul Burley, Paul Doran Jones and Calum Thomas the 2 directors and manager of Town and Country Property Auctions London will attempt the 3 peak challenge, Climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowden in 24 hours in honour of this great man. Anyone who knows Paul, Paul and Callum will know that this will not be an easy challenge but they hope to channel some of Peters determination and steely commitment to get them to the summit of these peaks.

We will be aiming to raise £25,000 for the Royal Air Force Association.

This money will help veterans and widows. RAFA is the charity that supports the RAF community in times of need, from food poverty to living costs. A portion of this money will also go to The Royal Air Force cadets Telford which my father volunteered as the treasurer.

We aim to take this challenge on October 3rd 2025 and training has started.
