Vietnam Veteran's Widow Needs Home Repairs

We want to help an 82-year-old widow with some necessary home repairs before winter sets in. This dear lady lives in an old single-wide trailer with her dog. Her husband, a Vietnam veteran, passed away a few years ago. He worked to keep the trailer in good repair, but as his health began to fail, the chores piled up. Unfortunately, the trailer now needs some serious work.
One morning, the woman woke to find several inches of water on the floor. That’s when she discovered the roof is leaking and the floor is soft from water damage. She found mold growing in the back closet. To make matters worse, a tornado touched down on her road this spring and blew some siding off. The exterior porch and steps are deteriorating and we worry that our friend could fall.
My friend doesn't want to leave her home, and we want to make sure she stays SAFE and comfortable. With your financial assistance, we can do this!
We need to raise $4000 to purchase Kool Seal for the roof, plywood, beams and paint to repair the floors, deck, and walls. This is a relatively small budget for a rather large job. But some of our local firefighter friends have agreed to donate their time and labor, and others have agreed to help with painting supplies (brushes, rags, mops for the sealant, etc.)
Can you help? Even small donations will be greatly appreciated.
This woman has been active in her community for many years and is well-respected. But she is a private person who is uncomfortable sharing her situation with others. We want to help her. I know there are other good people who will join us in this effort.
