As we all know, the Island of Puerto Rico was hit by Category 5 Maria on Sept. 20th and nearly half the Island is still incommunicado and going without basic survival needs such as water, food, sanitary products and clothes. Roofs, entire homes and neighborhood s have been lost, yet our spirit remains in tact. My name is Veronica Montalvo. Many of you have been following my FB page, and you know that as a Puerto Rican's and Maria Survivor, this effort started modestly from my heart and in my car. My Roots and Wings will use 100% of all donations to ensure the purchase and delivery of survival supplies directly are in the hands of victims within 24-48 hrs of receiving your donation.
