Help Veronica's family after ICE took her Husband

Wagner is a father of two young children and a hard-working and beloved member of his community. On the morning of October 6, 2025, in front of his wife Veronica and their children and over the protests of his attorney, he was abruptly taken into custody by ICE following his immigration court hearing. No explanation was given. Wagner has no criminal history.

Earlier this year, Wagner’s 9 year old daughter had surgery for a brain tumor and is still receiving ongoing medical treatment for seizures. She was hospitalized for seizures as recently as the evening of October 5, 2025, the night before her father was taken.

The family has been living in the New York City shelter system and Veronica is now left to care for and support herself, their 9 year old daughter and their 2 year old son by herself while Wagner is in ICE detention for an indeterminate amount of time.

This fundraiser is to help provide immediate and essential financial support to Veronica and her two children, as well as to fund legal efforts to secure Wagner's release. All funds raised go directly to Veronica and her family; the organizers of this campaign just maintain the web page and have no custody of the donations.
