Vergara Family Adoption

On June 19th, God brought a special little girl into the lives of my best friends and partners in ministry, Devin and Mike Vergara. It was completely unexpected, but oh so welcomed. Through many conversations and lots of tears and faith, it became evident that the best decision for "miss lady" was to be adopted by Mike & Devin. This was a decision made by both the Vergara’s and miss lady’s biological mom.

“We have loved her from the moment we laid eyes on her three and a half years ago, but our desire to love her, protect her and show her Jesus on a daily basis has only grown with each day she has been with us.  We are so grateful that her mom has entrusted us with this precious gift. Our desire is to love her biological mother and support her in this journey as well. To show her that family is family no matter what. And her selfless choice is blessing so many more people than just miss lady.

With all of this being said, the truth is we won't be able to take on the attorney's fees, court fees, and added cost of adoption with out some help from our friends and family. Any amount, big or small, would be a huge blessing and help us reach our goal of adopting miss lady and also help us with the expenses to convert our garage into a room for her. “

Pray that miss lady will continue to transition to being home with them smoothly.

Pray that her biological momma’s heart is not in pain or lacking. That she may seek Jesus in this time and become closer to him.

Pray that the battle in court with the biological father does not get ugly.

Pray that the remodel of their garage goes smoothly and that it may become miss ladies safe haven. And that it has, as miss lady has requested, “lots of blaaaaaaankets and piiiiiillows that are all pink and my new book! (her new Jesus storybook bible)”
